Server High Load Incident on host-web2.aseanserver.com

Modified on Thu, 14 May at 2:49 PM

Dear Valued Clients,

On 13 May 2026 at approximately 10:00 AM, we received reports from several clients regarding website accessibility issues on the server below:

Server: host-web2.aseanserver.com

Impacts:

Some websites were inaccessible or experienced loading issues due to server instability and cache-related problems.

What Happened:

The server experienced a high load issue caused by abnormal resource usage from a certain account. As checked, the server encountered an OOM (Out of Memory) issue earlier, which caused the reported issues.

Our team immediately restarted the server to restore the services. However, after the restart, some websites were affected by cache inconsistencies, causing certain sites to remain inaccessible or not load properly.

To resolve the issue completely, we are currently performing individual website cache and file resets to restore affected websites back to normal operation.

Current Status:

The server is currently online and stable. Most services have been restored successfully, while several affected websites are still being individually checked and reset to ensure proper functionality.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience and understanding during this period. Should you continue to experience any issues with your website, please contact our support team via support@skytomato.com.my

Warm regards,

Skytomato Team
